I'm not an outsourced bookkeeping service. I'm a controller.
I was the controller for a sand-and-gravel and landscape-rock operation in the Treasure Valley — a 30-truck fleet that ran more than 100 trucks at the height of summer once we brought in outside haulers. I know what it costs to keep iron moving, where the margin leaks between the pit and the jobsite, and what a hauling operation has to fix to stop bleeding cash. I've helped take a large trucking operation from losing money every month to consistently profitable.
