About

A controller who's sat in the chair you're sitting in.

Apex Financial is one person, not a bookkeeping mill — a CMA who ran the books for an Idaho operation that moved real iron, and now does the same for construction and trucking companies across the Treasure Valley.

Where this comes from

I was the controller for a sand-and-gravel and landscape-rock operation in the Treasure Valley — a 30-truck fleet that ran more than 100 trucks at the height of summer once we brought in outside haulers. That's where I learned what it actually costs to keep iron moving, and how fast margin disappears between the pit and the jobsite when the books are behind.

I've taken a large trucking operation that was losing money every month and helped get it back to consistently profitable — not with a software pitch, but by getting the numbers clean and putting a process around them that the owner could actually run.

That's the whole idea behind Apex Financial: clean books, a process that runs without you, and a dashboard so you can see your real margin per job. One project, flat fee, no monthly retainer — built for owner-operated Idaho companies, by someone who's done the job, not sold the software.
